Dr. Fatemeh Atyabi
Dr. Fatemeh Atyabi is a full professor of Pharmaceutics and Nanomedicine at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS). She serves as the Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology and leads the Nanomedicine Laboratory at TUMS. Dr. Atyabi earned her Pharm.D. from TUMS and completed her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics at the University of Manchester, UK. She further pursued a fellowship in Nanomedicine at Paris-Sud University, France. Her research primarily focuses on drug delivery systems, nanotechnology, and cancer therapy, with over 320 publications in high-impact journals. Dr. Atyabi is recognized among the top 1% of scientists worldwide in pharmacology and toxicology by Essential Science Indicators (ESI).
Dr. Rasoul Dinarvand
Dr. Rasoul Dinarvand is a distinguished Iranian pharmacist and professor at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS). He earned his Pharm.D. from TUMS in 1988 and completed his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics at the University of Manchester in 1994. Dr. Dinarvand has held several key positions, including Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at TUMS and Head of the Nanotechnology Research Center at TUMS. He also served as the Deputy Minister and Head of the Food and Drug Administration of Iran from 2013 to 2017. His research focuses on advanced drug delivery systems and nanotechnology, contributing significantly to pharmaceutical sciences.

Since 2020, he has been pursuing a PhD in nanomedicine, focusing on the innovative use of platelet membranes to develop nanocarriers for delivering gene. For him, life is short as nano!

In his thesis, he is working on local delivery of anticancer drugs and also interested in ageing and age related diseases. Mostafa is well familiar with cellular biology, virology and imaging techniques.

Hakimeh Rakhshandeh, Pharm.D., is a Ph.D. candidate in Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Her research focuses on developing a non-invasive diagnostic method for early detection of choroidal melanoma using ESI mass spectrometry, gold nanoparticles, and machine learning to identify cancer biomarkers.
Amin Khabbaz Hashemi is a Ph.D. student at Tehran University of Medical Science, specializing in pharmaceutical nanotechnology. His research centers on liposomal nanoparticles and their role on transdermal drug delivery. Holding a Pharm.D. from Guilan University of Medical Science, Amin previously gained regulatory experience at the Food and Drug Administration. He is dedicated to developing innovative drug delivery systems to enhance patient care.
Nahideh Shafizadeh
Nahideh is a Ph.D. candidate in Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology, specializing in the development of in situ gel-forming hydrogels with anticancer drug-loaded gold-titanium dioxide nanoparticles. Her research focuses on nanoparticle synthesis, drug delivery systems, and localized cancer treatments.
Sara Masoumi Shahrbabak
Sara is an experienced and enthusiastic pharmacist in both community and hospital settings. After staring her PhD, she focused on research in drug delivery, tissue engineering, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics. She is developing a hydrogel to reduce fibrosis after myocardial infarction.
Narges Shams
Narges Shams is a Ph.D. candidate in Pharmaceutical Sciences focusing on peptide drug delivery and nanoparticle development. Her research explores virus-mimicking mesoporous silica nanoparticles for oral delivery of liraglutide, using innovative coatings to enhance mucus penetration and drug efficacy.
Reza Abdollahzadeh
Reza Abdollahzade is a Ph.D. candidate in Pharmaceutics researching innovative drug delivery systems. His work focuses on chitosan nanoparticles loaded with Myrtus communis extract, designed for colon-targeted treatment of ulcerative colitis, combining nanotechnology and plant-based therapeutics to enhance efficacy and reduce side effects.
Bahar Morshedi
Bahar Morshedi is focusing on innovative therapies for glioblastoma multiforme (GBM). Her work explores localized delivery systems using ibrutinib-loaded PLGA-PEG-folate nanoparticles and octreotide-loaded hydrogel to bypass the blood-brain barrier, enhance drug delivery, and suppress tumor growth. Her interests include nanoparticle-based drug delivery, hydrogel formulations, sustained release systems, and in vivo cancer studies.

Zeynab's research focuses on developing oxaliplatin-loaded gold nanoparticles coated with exosomes and anti-plac1 antibodies for targeted colon cancer therapy. Her interests include nanotechnology, drug delivery systems, exosomes, and cancer treatment, with several publications in these fields
