Dr. Fatemeh Atyabi

Dr. Fatemeh Atyabi is a full professor of Pharmaceutics and Nanomedicine at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS). She serves as the Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology and leads the Nanomedicine Laboratory at TUMS. Dr. Atyabi earned her Pharm.D. from TUMS and completed her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics at the University of Manchester, UK. She further pursued a fellowship in Nanomedicine at Paris-Sud University, France. Her research primarily focuses on drug delivery systems, nanotechnology, and cancer therapy, with over 320 publications in high-impact journals. Dr. Atyabi is recognized among the top 1% of scientists worldwide in pharmacology and toxicology by Essential Science Indicators (ESI).

Dr. Rasoul Dinarvand

Dr. Rasoul Dinarvand is a distinguished Iranian pharmacist and professor at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS). He earned his Pharm.D. from TUMS in 1988 and completed his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics at the University of Manchester in 1994. Dr. Dinarvand has held several key positions, including Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at TUMS and Head of the Nanotechnology Research Center at TUMS. He also served as the Deputy Minister and Head of the Food and Drug Administration of Iran from 2013 to 2017. His research focuses on advanced drug delivery systems and nanotechnology, contributing significantly to pharmaceutical sciences.

Since 2020, he has been pursuing a PhD in nanomedicine, focusing on the innovative use of platelet membranes to develop nanocarriers for delivering gene. For him, life is short as nano!

Hakimeh Rakhshandeh, Pharm.D., is a Ph.D. candidate in Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Her research focuses on developing a non-invasive diagnostic method for early detection of choroidal melanoma using ESI mass spectrometry, gold nanoparticles, and machine learning to identify cancer biomarkers.

Amin Khabbaz Hashemi is a Ph.D. student at Tehran University of Medical Science, specializing in pharmaceutical nanotechnology. His research centers on liposomal nanoparticles and their role on transdermal drug delivery. Holding a Pharm.D. from Guilan University of Medical Science, Amin previously gained regulatory experience at the Food and Drug Administration. He is dedicated to developing innovative drug delivery systems to enhance patient care.
